Idea is a new brand for the councils library services and 'Idea Stores' are currently being rolled out across the borough. Idea Stores are changing the face of libraries and lifelong learning in Tower Hamlets. They are designed to encourage a wider mix of local residents to use the facilities and take up opportunities for learning and leisure.
Working with the department of Culture and Environment, we have developed the design and structure of the online offer. Through consultation with the library service, we have created a site that can be updated on a regular basis by the programme managers through a content management system (CMS).
